Course Information
The College of Southern Idaho Art Department offers Associate of Arts degrees in General Art, Commercial Art, and Photography, along with coursework in Art History, Ceramics, Design, Drawing, Painting, Photography, and Sculpture. The department presents regular exhibits of work by recognized visual artists, faculty, and students in the Herrett Center for Arts and Science’s Jean B. King Gallery of Art, the Sunspot Gallery located in the Taylor Administration Building, and in the Student Union Building. One of the highlight of the year within the department is the Cultural Field Trip to San Francisco. For thirty years, faculty, students, and individuals from the community have traveled together to the Bay Area during spring break to enjoy a variety of music, theater, and dance productions, as well as touring many galleries and museums.
